• Oversee entire plant activity, while monitoring and meeting certain guidelines and following standard operating procedures.
• Monitoring/operating the plant via Distributed Control System (DCS), making adjustments when needed to maintain certain specs.
• Plant start up's / shut down's.
• Assigning / Monitoring operators daily tasks such as:

- Daily checklists- monitoring equipment ( pump's, agitators, vessels, exchangers, conveyors, temps, pressures, levels, vibrations, leaks, alarms, etc.)

- Sample schedules- to track and analyze plant operations.

- Log books are being filled out correctly for further analysis.

- Minor maintenance- topping up low fluid levels, tightening up valves, changing filters, valve verifications/calibrations etc.

- Typical housekeeping and maintaining plant cleanliness.

• Issuing work orders through maintenance management system.
• Preparing / Assigning LOTO's
• Maintaining accurate logs of all permits / LOTO's assigned throughout daily operations.
• Communicating issues with maintenance department, scheduling when work can be performed.
• Logging all shipments in an out of operation department.

• Cleaning/Crushing alloy (heats)
• Assisting overhead crane hooking up to ladles, molds, charge boxes, feed tanks, miscellaneous.

• Production Planning/Scheduling
• Mixing/Blending multiple different raw (Polyethylene) materials per customer application.
• Machine Operations (Startup's, Shutdown's, Setup's, Changeover's, Adjustments and Maintenance.)
• Prepare shift summary reports for daily production, materials usage/scrap for inventory/production documentation.
• Monitor machine operations, make adjustments necessary for timely productions.
• Assign workforce daily tasks/responsibilities to reach desired production goals while maintaining smooth department operations.
• Enforce company policies, regulations and safety awareness with all employees.
• Communicate with managers of other departments to maintain transparency.
