Accomplishments

By January of 1989, my focus had taken shape and I struck out to change careers from Insurance Underwriting and placement to Financial Product sales.


The first company was Shearson Lehman Brothers later becoming Citibank (now Morgan Stanley). I worked out of phone books and Commercial leads to open accounts through COLD CALLING. to build a business for the long term which I did having a 32 year career.


After marrying in 1982 we took up residence in Hawthorne, NJ . I became aware of the town's poisoned well water and formed and became president of the Hawthorne Citizens for a Clean Environment. We were able to facilitate the installation of 2 water filtration systems to help eliminate the Volatile Organic Chemicals that were creating a serious health issue.
