  • Communicate with employees and vendors to answer questions and address mailing issues.

  • Inspect outgoing mail for accuracy prior to distribution and mailing.
  • Answer telephones calls and messages, Emails and attend Webex or TeamViewer meetings with staff or with mail vendor
  • Load 3of9 or OMR barcoded letters into trays and maintain continuous flow when feeding letters to be inserted into envelopes. A few such mailings would be AP checks, Physician letters and Health Plan or GSS statements.
  • Organize and monitor mail supplies and general office supplies for mailroom.
  • Adhere to safety regulations while operating machinery in the mailroom area.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by disposing or shredding of waste material properly.
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing mailings.
  • Identify undeliverable mail and return to sender as needed.
  • Process outgoing mailings or packages to meet requirements of delivery providers such as USPS, UPS and QPS.
  • Hand Stuff envelopes for Sanford mail-outs such as physician letters or statement over-counts that contain too many pages to go through the inserters.
  • Reorder supplies when stock rans low to maintain necessary levels.
  • Monitor and direct work of lower-level clerks. I currently see them as equals, however, adjust the work schedule by how my co-worker states on how their' performance level is on day to day basis.
  • Receive, sort and organize incoming letters and packages from the main campus and business Center.
  • Organize outgoing mail pick ups for special mailings such as W2's, including arranging for a Sanford courier to deliver to the PO BMEU.
  • Weigh items using electronic scale to calculate shipping costs.
  • Work successfully with diverse group of coworkers to accomplish deadline goals on days extra help is needed.

  • Complete day-to-day duties accurately, although mistakes do happen, and will own up and learn from them.
  • Add safeguards to ensure data breaches do not occur, by checking quantities, double checking information and accurately operating and knowing the equipment.
  • Work with outside vendor or departments so that mailing addresses are positioned correctly when inserted into a double or single window envelope.
  • When needed as a backup, computer process the daily physician letters.
  • Have a good relationship with outside vendors or technicians, such as Pitney Bowes, PO BMEU, QPS or Sanford department users.
  • Willing to help out with pre-press trouble shooting issues regarding the plate processor or file formatting issues using InDesign application.

  • Operate and maintain address printer to produce a printed address that meet Post Office specifications.
