  • The student is responsible for the provided information composed of evidence, interview transcriptions, forensic analyst reports, as well as other various investigative documents and reports
  • The final report the student submits is their criminal investigation for the information provided on the complex case
  • This class teaches an investigator the basics of criminal investigations from start to finish in an effort to train them in conducting complete and thorough investigations.

  • My job duties at this assignment was investigating complex cases pertaining to drug diversion from a medical provider all the way down to the street level drug trafficking
  • These investigations were very in-depth and required medical records analysis, unlawful use of Medicaid, prescription monitoring data analysis, compilation of data via Microsoft Excel, interviewing and interrogating, work with confidential informants, undercover operations, surveillance, typing, prosecution of criminal activity, use of covert electronic recording devices, as well as many other responsibilities.
