Supervises and directs the activities of our (2) shift machine shop operation, comprised of (3) machining teams using approximately 20 machine tools and ancillary equipment. Oversees the job performance of all team members and ensures that the department operates in an efficient manner while producing the desired quality and quantity of work. In addition to managing the day-to-day tactical operations, the Machine Shop Manager is a key driver of continuous improvement initiatives to meet annual plan targets in safety, quality, delivery, costs and morale.

• Managed daily operations of an AS 9100 C certified Machine Shop in the production of precision machined parts and assemblies for customers based in the Aerospace/Defense industries. Supervises and directs the activities of a (2) shift machine shop operation, comprised of CNC & Manual Machinists,using approximately 20 machine tools and ancillary equipment. Oversees the job performance of all team members and ensures that the department operates in an efficient manner while producing the desired quality and quantity of work. • Administer a NIMS based curriculum for Precision Machining Technology to students from local manufacturing companies to improve their knowledge and skillsets.
• Classroom combined with lab (hands on) that provide comprehensive training.
• An evening course offered by TCC. Certificate of Completion upon successful closeout. Duration 105 hours
