Leadership & Operations

• Support daily center operations across medical, donor screening, phlebotomy, laboratory, and quality departments.
• Serve as Alternate Center Leadership, assisting with operational oversight, employee accountability, workflow management, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with management to ensure departmental goals, productivity targets, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
• Assist with staffing decisions, employee development, and operational planning to maintain efficient center performance.
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Medical Operations

• Perform comprehensive donor physical examinations and eligibility determinations.
• Review donor medical histories and assess donor suitability according to FDA regulations and company SOPs.
• Respond to and manage donor adverse events ranging from mild reactions to emergency situations.
• Ensure donor safety while maintaining compliance with all medical and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with difficult venipunctures and support phlebotomy staff as needed.

Training & Employee Development

• Serve as Designated Trainer responsible for onboarding, coaching, and developing new employees across multiple functional areas.
• Train team members on company SOPs, regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and operational processes.
• Monitor employee performance and provide coaching to improve productivity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support leadership initiatives aimed at building a highly skilled and engaged workforce.

Quality & Compliance

• Serve as Backup Quality Associate, strengthening center-wide compliance and quality initiatives.
• Support leadership and quality teams with completion of DTS records, investigations, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with preparation for internal and external audits and inspections.

Cross-Functional Expertise

• Cross-trained in laboratory, donor screening, quality, and phlebotomy.
• Provide operational support across departments to maintain service levels and operational continuity.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, employee performance, and donor satisfaction.
• Support implementation of operational changes and new processes.
