As an experienced Senior Technologist, appointed by the Director of Radiology, it was my responsibility to train new technologist and educate them regarding the purpose and effectiveness of interventions performed, as well as teaching the skills required to excel in assisting in Interventional procedures. I managed the scheduling of staff technologists and coordinated placement of staff daily. I successfully and productively managed the department workflow by coordinating staff, physicians, and patients. Transitioning into the Radiology Manager position, I have strengthened my leadership skills. I have used the opportunities in this role to devise better communication between departments for the financial future of the organization.
