- Co-chaired promotional boards: responsible for selecting committee to organize and prepare selection procedures for vacant positions. Responsible for recruiting, orienting, training and supervising staff up to 130 Letter Carriers, 6 subordinate supervisors. Reviewed and analyzed daily operational performance indicators. Instructed guidance to improve sick and overtime usage. Was able to reduce and maintain sick leave by 2.5% during quarterly projection period. Oversight of all aspects of Postal staff performance in regards to organizational goals. Ensured postal facilities were in compliance with OSHA laws. Submitted written audit evaluations to safety office with recommendations. As member of the Implementation Advisory Board for USPS Headquarters, recommended changes to outdated postal policies and procedures. Acquired a health and life insurance license for state of Maryland and Texas. I have trained and hired newly appointed insurance agents. Conducted community informational seminars.
