I am a dedicated animal caretaker with a wealth of experience in managing the health and welfare of various species within shelter and veterinary settings, as well as caring for my own animals over the years. I am adept at providing daily care, medical support, and behavioral training to improve animal well-being. My efforts have successfully enhanced adoption rates through effective socialization techniques and thorough health care management. I possess strong multitasking skills and am committed to creating positive environments for all animals. As a compassionate and seasoned animal caretaker, I have a history of caring for a diverse range of species in both shelter and veterinary contexts. I am skilled in meeting daily needs, offering medical support, and conducting behavioral training to ensure the well-being of animals. I have demonstrated the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks while nurturing positive environments for the animals in my care. My contributions have led to improved adoption rates via effective socialization methods and health care management. Additionally, I interned with a large animal veterinarian during high school and participated in 4-H Horse groups and working steer groups in my youth. Having been involved with horses since the age of eight, I have owned two horses, leased another through a farm where I used to ride, and raised an orphaned foal from a breeding farm that lost the colt's mother. Moreover, I have rehabilitated my working steer's leg following an injury, despite a veterinarian's prognosis that he would never walk or work again.
