  • Pass and administer medication as directed. Always follow the five R's; right patient, right drug, right time, right dose, and the right route.
  • Sanitize, restocked, and organized medication cart and medical equipment.
  • Call and fax pharmacies to submit prescriptions and refills.
  • Obtain and documented patient vital signs and current complaints at intake.
  • Always listen to the patient and give their PRN's when available upon request, and then record an hour later to make sure it was effective. If not then tell the nurse if nothing is effective for proper treatment.
  • Always follow the MAR and TAR.
  • Make sure all treatments are done efficiently and on time, if I notice any changes then report to nurse.
  • Always notify the nurse if there has been a mistake or change.
