Led specialized department established for ensuring newly released paroled individuals are set up for vocational, financial, medical and mental health success after lengthy prison sentences

• Provided population and age-appropriate field based case management services to the individuals we served, including assessment, crisis intervention, coordination of care, individual plan service development, resource development, and medication support and management.
• Collaborated with medical professionals to coordinate treatment plans for clients and maintained accurate case records and documentation according to agency guidelines through EMR system and HIPAA regulations.

• Conducted monthly reporting meetings, maintained legal records, initiated violation processes/ writing violation reports, accompanied offenders during court appearances, created recommendations for diversion/ violation processes, contacted third parties to monitor defendants therapeutic progress, testing and support group attendance, casework plan modifications, maintained files, conducted necessary investigations to be able to make thoughtful recommendations to the court regarding disposition, placements, treatment plans, support services, and any other appropriate terms and conditions of probation
• Utilized JIS software, LEIN system, CLEMIS and other investigative programs
• Counseled adult felony offenders with legal, substance abuse, mental health, employment and personal problems.

Provided quality rehabilitative supervisory care to substance abuse and correctional clients in a coed sub-acute detoxification and residential addiction treatment facility

• Duties include direct client supervision and interaction, staff training and leadership, initial intake paperwork process, motivational interviewing, medical supervision, preliminary breathalyzer tests, urinalysis tests, co-pay collection and billing, food service, light building maintenance and support of counseling through CBT approach.
