Brittni Rickman

Having proudly served as a teacher in the district for the past eleven years, I have developed a deep commitment to our students, families, staff, and community. I am eager to continue growing professionally and to contribute to our schools in a leadership capacity. I view educational leadership as an opportunity to serve, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of accountability, equity, and continuous improvement.

• Teacher in Charge which includes handling leadership duties like parent communication, student behaviors, assistance to Teachers and other school staff, document behaviors, and restorative practices.
• Peer Mentor Coach and hosted a Student Teacher in which provided support to developing educators through guidance, modeling effective instructional practices, and fostering professional growth
• Been an active member in the School Site Council Team for the past 2 years.
• Previous PBIS Coordinator to increase student behavior which include running a student store, and assisting with student behaviors.
• Worked collaboratively as Team Lead to provide assistance and guide teachers with lesson planning, assessments, and DATA collection.
• Created and implemented creative lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments used in teaching diverse subjects in classroom teaching.
• Created and implemented creative lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments as part of the District's Math Team.
• Taught general education students and individuals with special needs (including Autism, ADD, and ADHD), gifted/talented students, and ESL students within a mainstreamed, inclusive classroom.
• Worked collaboratively with Lead Teacher and other faculty to develop curriculum using different strategies for the different learning styles of students.
• Lead instruction in English Language Development for ESL students during language teams.
• Enforced different classroom management plans, including turning disruptive behavior by using positive feedback.
