- Assisted in coordinating wildlife management programs, ensuring compliance with federal regulations including State and Federal permits, DEA licensing and pesticide registration.
- Collaborated with field teams to develop and implement operational plans for wildlife damage management on several projects including T&E species protection, black bear damage to timber and human health and safety issues related to urban coyotes.
- Assisted with research related to beaver translocation, survivability and disease transmission, particularly Chitrid fungus.
- Monitored the progress of projects within the state, and provided regular updates to the regional office and my supervisor.
- Assisted the budget analyst with the formulation of budget estimates how to administering expenditures WA which is a large, multi-faceted program consisting of federal, state, city/county and many other cooperative funded budgets.
- Worked with the NEPA staff to finalize WA mammal EA which currently being reviewed by USFWS.
- Worked with the State Department of Fish and Wildlife to develop an Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) between USDA and WDFW. This is currently being edited and will be finalized this year.
- Managed three districts with over 160 Cooperative Service Agreements.
