Brooke Huver

Highly personable and skilled in customer service, with background as a Hostess in restaurant settings. Possesses strong organizational skills and known for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining smooth operation of the tasks at hand. I am hoping to have a successfil career on the Public Health track, while helping others and bettering my community is where I feel that I have the most impact.

Sports:

• Participated in 4 years of Varsity basketball at Avon Grove High School. I was captain of the team my Junior and Senior Year.
• Participated in 4 years of Lacrosse at Avon Grove High School. I was on Varsity my Junior and Senior year.

Clubs:

• I was a member of National Honors Society my Junior and Senior year of high school. I completed about 30-40 hours of community service each year that I was in NHS.
• I was in Yearbook Club my Junior year of high school. We checked in bi-weekly to talk about our progress in the work we were assigned for our schools' yearbook.
• I participated in Best Buddies my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year of high school. We spent time getting to know the students in our community with special needs. We took them to events to help them become more familiar forming friendships and develop motor and social skills to eventually help them to live independently.
• I spend a lot of time at SADD club (Students Against Destructive Decisions) my Junior and Senior year of high school. This club spread awareness for driving under the influence. Every other year, we organize a mock drunk driving crash that is shown to the whole school. This took a lot of preparation and time to gather everything we needed for this event to go on.
