Lead Telecom Expense Management Analyst, on assignment at Toyota Motor North America HQ. Oversight and ownership of all TEM related duties and activities. Aligns TEM team members and goals with the company missions and goals. Balances the dichotomy of team leadership, individual team members, and Senior Management to develop a unified team that strives towards a common goal and objective. Actively participates in all team discussions and guides the team towards constant improvement.
Daily Operational Duty:
Invoice Reviews and approvals
- Review all in-scope TEM invoices for TMNA, TMS, TLS, TEMA, MTMUS, R&D, TFS. Review TEM invoices for proper and correct allocation and billing codes per organization, company and department. Identify, initiate and pursue all dispute-related billing issues with TEM SaaS partner and carriers. Daily invoice reviews to develop optimization strategies.
- Payment reconciliation. Validate TEM SaaS approved invoices for payment. Review of AP Payment files; validate all allocation and billing codes. Review of acceptance/rejection reports from SAP and make required corrections when applicable. Validates successful SAP payment to carriers. Review and validate SAP payment information reconciled back to TEM SaaS. Collaborate with AP teams for all TEM invoices and SAP-related items and issues.
- TEM inventory. Daily review and analysis of TEM invoices to TEM SaaS inventory. Identify and validate in-use and not-in-use network/telecom services. Review and validation of contracted term agreements per service.
- Dispute management. Ownership status of all dispute-related billing issues with TEM SaaS partner and carriers.
TEM SaaS account maintenance, updates and fixes, process improvements
- Collaborate with all TEM SaaS team members to achieve Toyota TEMGroup’s mission statement and goals; aligning with TMNA mission statement and goals
- TEM SaaS enhancement, bug fixes and improvement strategies
- Review TEM SaaS SLAs meet contract terms and conditions
- Additional TEM SaaS to SAP systems configurations
Financial Management
- Daily bookkeeping ownership and oversight of fiscal year actuals
- Daily invoice reviews and recording of actuals
- Organizes actuals per Toyota Company and short-term and long-term projects
- Oversight of all budget and actual allocations, provide analysis reporting when requested
- Support and recommend FY budget forecast analysis
- Perform monthly budgets versus actuals analysis reports
- Monthly fiscal year budget burn-down rate analysis
- Perform monthly A&F accruals and RFA
- Review and initiate Toyota intercompany chargebacks
Manager and Senior Manager Support
- Prioritize and execute tasks assigned by management
- Address and report all potential issues and risks to TMNA and associated companies
- Provide team and individual team member growth and improvement recommendations and strategies
TEM Team Coordination
- Align team and individual team members with TMNA company mission and goals
- Support all TEM team members in all TEM-related activities and duties
- Provide mentorship, leadership, and areas of improvement
- Develop tactical planning within the TEM team that supports and aids in TMNA company mission and goals
- Analyze and diagnose all TEM-related duties and activities for potential risks and issues
- Develops and supports TEM team initiatives towards optimization and cost effectiveness
- Supports and guides all TEM team duties to support all Toyota business groups
- Evaluates overall TEM team and individual TEM team member performance
Carrier and Vendor Management
- Manage and maintain carrier and vendor relationships
- Address and resolve all TEM-related carrier and vendor issues
- Manage carrier and vendor expectations, balance dichotomy between TMNA
