At Snapdoodle, I often opened and closed the store as I was a key holder which kept me responsible for the store for many years. I helped customers navigate the store and find appropriate merchandise for the target age range customers were shopping for. I also, managed and organized child birthday parties by teaching and assisting the children with crafts while doing face painting and leaving time for gifts and food. The birthday parties really strengthened my time management and multitasking skills. When working on the cash register I also managed the free gift wrapping station which often got busy and allowed me to multitask giving me experience dealing with high-stress situations such as the Christmas season.

At Just Poké, I had to memorize our signature bowls to help keep our orders efficiently flowing through the line. When working on the line, I had to juggle many tasks and work cohesively with my coworkers while navigating our small workspace. I learned how to make tasks, that I was handing off to the next coworker in line, easier for them while simultaneously preparing for my next customer. I would prepare the base and protein for the begging of the line and quickly switch to making açaí or hot bowls on the opposite end of the store while maintaining all the items of the order together for our customer. This job really taught me how to think ahead and juggle many components at once.
