Reconnaissance Troop Commander

  • Led a 100-man Troop forward on deployment to Slovakia as Troop Commander including three recon platoons, a mortar platoon, and a Headquarters platoon
  • Assumed the role of Task Force Commander of US Forces in the NATO Battle Group Slovakia- leading over 170 US Personnel across a multitude of domains and occupations
  • Trained and advised Slovak, Slovenian, German, and Czech Soldiers and strengthened the US strategic position in the Eastern European Theater
  • Worked closely with the State Department and the US Embassy to solve problems as well as a liaison between US Forces and NATO Leadership
  • Led Troop on a month long training exercise in Germany at the Joint Readiness Training Center where my Troop was the most lethal unit in the Brigade
  • Oversaw the US Facility in Lest, Slovakia to include sleeping, entertainment, transportation and dining accommodations for all US Forces in NATO Battle Group Slovakia as well as force protection of the US Base
  • Successfully orchestrated the movement of over 100 trucks and thousands of pieces of equipment forward to Europe, from Slovakia to Germany, and from Germany back to the United States
  • Worked alongside and managed Slovak translators and gained regional expertise on the geo-political landscape of Eastern Europe
