I finished my near 15 yr carrer with Energy Developments as a Reciprocating Engine Div production manager, however I held numerous roles along that path.
I started my carreer as an electrical powerplant operator. This role was focused heavily on a mechanical background with diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
I spent my time at several sites within my region in Michigan assisting wherever I could to increase productivity and reliabilty which ultimatley led to a role as ROSS Tech.
As a Regional Operations Support Specialist I carried out tasks such as Piston packs, Turbo Charger swaps and failur analysis for major components.
Major engine swaps and annual regulated air emissions testing fell within my scope to deliver as well.
Moving into the Supervisor and Management role's added additional planning, forcasting and HR responsibities however I always carried the mechanical aspects of the role with me to best optimize reliabilty and performance at site and regional level.
Starting my career in the landfill industry as on operator on the working face in a fast paced environment of refuse disposal.
We use 6 frontline pieces of equipment made up of CAT 3 D-8 dozers and 3 CAT 836 Wheel Packers.
Avg daily tonnage was above 3K and peak season often at 5K tons for proper disposal.
Within the first year I challenged with a new role of refining our maintenance shop and procedures.
While in this role I was responsabile for timly PM services as well as all emergent work and repowers. The scope of the role included working with vendors for quotes, OEM service work planning and all warranty follow ups.
Forcasting of expected costs for the fleet maintinance as well as fuel consumption was within my scope to deliver.
Starting my career in the aggregate industry with assembly and fabrication of a wash plant on a new open pit aggregate site.
Utilizing my operator and fabrication skills to set and modify for use two screen decks,drum scrubber,sand screws, a drum scrubber and associated conveyers/ stacker's.
Once the wash plant was functional, my focus turned to dewatering and excavation of the aggregate itself, maintaining the wash plant for repairs and performing quality checks of the finished product.
