Work History

O1 Journey Man Electrician/Foreman

Ibew Local 46, International Brotherhood Of Electrical Workers
09.2011 - Current

As an IBEW O1 electrician, I have twelve years of combined experience as a journeyman and lead foreman. Throughout my career, I have been responsible for various tasks, including planning, material ordering, and creating work packets to effectively delegate tasks to electricians. I have diligently monitored and refined the work process as it progresses, ensuring an efficient workflow. Additionally, I have implemented and managed Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Documenting the daily work performed and updating as-built plans in Blue Beam Revu is another core aspect of my responsibilities.

My expertise spans a wide range of projects, from relocating substations to pulling in new feeders for Boeing's South Seattle runway. I have also worked on high-end condo projects, including roughing in electrical systems for the Rainer Tower.

Combat Engineer Staff Sergeant for the US Army

United States Army
02.2004 - 09.2016

As a Combat Engineer Staff Sergeant for the US Army, I have completed two tours in Iraq, where I have gained valuable experience and honed my skills in various roles and responsibilities. Throughout my deployments, I have been responsible for a wide range of tasks, including both inside base and outside base security operations. This has required me to maintain a high level of vigilance and ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets under my purview.

In addition to security operations, I have also actively participated in planning and executing platoon operations. This entails writing detailed operations orders, coordinating resources and teams, and effectively leading the execution of missions. My ability to communicate succinctly and make sound decisions under pressure has been essential in ensuring the successful completion of these operations.

Furthermore, I have had the privilege of being involved in humanitarian efforts during my deployment. One notable example is the experience I gained in Thailand, where I contributed to the construction and building of schools. This work not only enhanced the infrastructure of local communities but also provided educational opportunities for the future generations.
