As a senior in biomedical engineering, I use and design novel technologies to ultimately combat disease, promote health, and safeguard the environment, while also expanding my understanding of tissue engineering and biomaterials. In the future, my dream is to apply my knowledge of and experience in biomedical engineering, the medical field, and customer service to best serve patients as a physician.

• Successfully negotiated new lower priced meal plan, which included remodeling of kitchen and in-house chef as opposed to previously catered meals Worked with Alumni Advisory Board and Central Office to refurnish entire house to allow for hosting of philanthropic events previously held at costly outside venues Handled all financial aspects of the local chapter, created budgets, maintained accounts and ledgers, paid bills, invoiced members, maintained corporate status, and managed tax filings

• Created and developed highly lauded weekly mental health support group call “Chi Psichology” which sparked a nationwide push for other chapters in the national fraternity to implement

Exact Sciences Cologuard R&D Temperature Calibration Project

Fall 2022 - Current 

• Part of a team that developed a device that wirelessly calibrates the temperature of heating equipment used to process Cologuard samples with high accuracy and precision by collecting temperature data and altering the equipment’s programmable settings accordingly

Meralgia Paresthetica Preventative Hip Pad Design Project

Fall 2021 - Fall 2022

• Part of a team that developed a potentially patentable hip pad for a prone spinal surgery table that prevents the onset of a neurological disorder called meralgia paresthetica commonly caused by a surgical table’s stock hip pads

Shadowing Electrophysiologist Dr. Jodi Zilinksi MD, Jan 2023, 

• Shadowed Dr. Jodi Zilinksi at Aurora Hospital in Oshkosh and St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee for a total of 20 hours

Member of Alpha Iota Chi Psi Fraternity

Spring 2021 - Current 

• Coordinated and participated in many philanthropy events such as the Langdon Invitational Hockey Tournament, Iota Open Golf Outing, and Humorology Performance for special needs children which together raised over $200,000 this past academic year Volunteered multiple hours each month at River Food Bank and with the Interfraternity Council to clean up the streets in downtown Madison
