Growing up in a small community of 2,000 people fostered an environment where I had the opportunity to engage in various jobs while pursuing my education. This unique experience provided me with a diverse skill set that aligns with the demands of seasonal work. I've honed my adaptability by transitioning between different roles, which has made me adept at quickly integrating into new team environments. Leading the AMHS Chinese Club for 4 years as president has been instrumental in shaping my leadership abilities. In this role, I've had the privilege of guiding a diverse group of individuals towards common goals, fostering inclusivity, and promoting cultural understanding within our school community.
Growing up in Southeast Alaska instilled in me a deep connection to the great outdoors from an early age. Surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, I developed a profound appreciation for adventure and exploration.
In 2023, this love for outdoor experiences culminated in an unforgettable journey when my sister and I embarked on a 100-mile hike around Mount Rainier in Washington. This expedition was not only a physical challenge but also a transformative experience that remains etched in my memory as one of the best times of my life.
