  • I am a Field Service Engineer for IQVIA/Novasyte which is contracted through Becton Dickenson (BD). I am a traveling field agent that works on site wherever needed to check in, upgrade, improve, and return any devices within the hospitals catalog. I work daily with teams anywhere from one to a dozen field agents that report to me.
  • My tasks include:
  • 1. Booking travel to and from the assignment site.
  • 2. Booking lodging and rental vehicles for the assignment dates.
  • 3. Working with the equipment depot to ensure that all project deliverables have been shipped to the assignment site in time for the assigned dates.
  • 4. Creating points of contact within the hospital systems Biomed tech team as well as ensuring the proper field agents were traveling to the assignment city.
  • 5. Set up the project from the files created by the PM.
  • 6. Test run the set-up project to ensure future devices properly connect to the appropriate networks.
  • 7. Work with hospital staff and tech teams to ensure all devices are processed and working correctly on the hospitals networks.
  • 8. Ensure all project process rates have been met and hospital staff and project managers are satisfied with the final numbers.
  • 9. Pack up all equipment and work with tech teams to produce shipping labels for all deliverables to be shipped back to the depot or to the next assignment site.
  • There are small intricacies within each task that I will gladly elaborate on. This position requires me to hold certifications and clearances with multiple vendor credentialing accounts.
  • I am required weekly to maintain medical equipment training courses including the handling and processing of devices that go directly to patients after being tested by myself and my team.
