After earning my bachelor's degree in Brazil, I went to work and gained five years of experience in water analysis at an environmental lab, where I built a strong foundation in research and analysis. In addition, I have three years of experience as a weekend caretaker for children at parties, which allowed me to refine my interpersonal and communication skills. In August 2021, I joined New Brockton High School as an ESL teacher aide, where I assisted EL students in achieving their learning goals through small group and one-on-one support. I utilized multimedia strategies and technology to deliver engaging lessons and collaborated with teachers to support struggling students. I also facilitated group projects to build teamwork and problem-solving skills, while providing individual mentoring and special tutoring to help students overcome comprehension challenges. This role deepened my passion for education and inspired me to pursue a Master's degree in School Counseling, which I began in August 2023 and expect to complete by mid-2026.
