Officially and successfully trained a Certified Diabetic Alert Service Animal for TYPE 1 Juvenile Diabetic child. Saved many dogs from euthanization due to behavior and breed issues(Pits). Owned and loved many dogs, at one time I was raising 6 dogs, ranging in age from 3 months to 16 years.
This has always been a passion of mine or on a volunteer type basis or learn it myself. I have recently decided to make the most of the rest of my working life and officially dive into actual employment in the field of Animal Care.I recently obtained paid training at a veterinary hospital here in Las Vegas, and even though it was not a perfect fit for future employment, I was able to make a definite decision that Animal Care is the field I want to commit to and learn everything about.
