Candan Altinay

My name is Candan Altinay, Freshman Student at Purdue University in the First Year Engineering(FYE) Program with plans to graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace and Aeronautical/Space Engineering with a specialization in Aerodynamics. I had a High School weighted GPA of 4.3 in several STEM classes that enable me to be able to problem solve and adapt comprehensively to challenges presented to me whether mathematical, analytical, or in problem solving. I am knowledgeable and competent in more than one CAD Engineering Software including Solidworks, NX, and ANSYS. I have taken and passed AP exams in classes including AP world history, AP Human Geography, AP calculus AB and BC, AP Physics 1 and 2, and AP U.S. History, AP government/politics, AP computer science A, and AP Psychology. I worked part time as a cashier and floor clerk at my local grocery and took part in several community service jobs as well as multiple leadership roles in the sports I participated in as well as student leadership. I have over 6 years experience using Office 365 Software including Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. I am a very driven and fast learner with an unwavering curiosity and yearning to learn and work. I feel as though I am a very committed and reliable worker with potential that could be of great addition to your team.
