Self Self-managed the outpatient infusion unit alongside another RN. Scheduled and performed outpatient services, enhancing patient access to necessary treatments. Started and finished infusions such as electrolyte infusions, IVIG infusions, fluids, platelets and blood transfusions. Also performed wound care and outpatient antibiotics for those without home health arrangements. Monitored vital signs, administered premedications, conducted routine blood draws, initiated IV access, managed port access, provided PICC line care, and performed PICC dressing changes.
