• DustyTRON NASA Robotics – TAMIU Systems Engineering Senior Project where students gather to design, construct, and program a lunar mining robot with the goal of unearthing lunar rocks from the moon and at the same time, avoiding obstacles
• Systems Simulation Walmart Line Queue Project – a team of systems engineering students gathered and set out to find any problems with the line queue at Walmart and find any possible solutions to optimize and enhance the customer service
• Modeling and Design Columbia Space Shuttle Presentation - a team of systems engineering students investigated and did a thorough report on the incident of the Columbia space shuttle crash, investigating the cause of the incident and its legacy
• FAA Life Expectancy Prediction Program – I was presented with the task of devising a means to obtain the information of how long an expendable part will last before it needs to be replaced. Using Python, I constructed a program with the intent of reading the order data for the parts ordered at every facility location that used a specific part. The optimal outcome was for the average time between orders to be greater than the standard deviation. While this outcome was possible for parts at one location, as a whole, this process is flawed and led to negative results. Further research and improvement is necessary
• FAA Thesaurus Development – I was assigned with the task of going through the instruction and maintenance booklets that the FAA uses for the ARSR, SFAS, FAB, and MALSR facilities and scan through them in search for equipment names and add them to a log for future reference
• File Merging Program – To eliminate the problem of scanning through different files looking for terms in different facility types, I have constructed a prototype program on Python in which the main objective is to take the names of multiple files and copy the data that is listed on them and then paste said data onto a master file to eliminate time wasted going back and forth on the files
