An innovative, functional, and sustainable architectural solution was proposed for the problems of the La Trinidad Urbanization community, integrating technical, aesthetic, and contextual aspects.
An investigation was carried out in the La Trinidad Urbanization, where it was concluded that the main problem in the sector was the lack of a public school. Therefore, a sustainable architectural project was proposed: a public school that would fit the needs of the place.
An in-depth analysis of the proposed educational center was carried out, collecting information through interviews with the inhabitants of the community affected by this problem.
It was ensured that the work carried out complied with Venezuelan engineering and infrastructure regulations, as well as with the required permits granted by the city mayor's office.
Taking into account the climatic characteristics of Maracaibo, which include high temperatures and constant winds, an innovative idea was proposed: take advantage of the trade winds that cross the building to generate cross ventilation, creating a more comfortable space, and reducing energy costs.
Given the proposal presented, the main objective was to find and provide a solution to the community's problems through sustainable architecture.
