  • I was brought into work for Primary color to assist with leading a team of individuals to organize and fix the current inventory
  • Within time I was able to implement SOP’s and create item numbers for the stock, also working with the IT department to creating locations and workflows systematically
  • Over time, I became the Inventory Control supervisor and our company was implementing a new inventory operating system for our fulfillment department, I was elected to be the super user for my facility and in time I was the functional and technical support for the Print Stream system
  • In 2017 Primary color move my facility and others facilities under the Primary family to one building, at this time my responsibilities change wore many hats to Inventory control supervisor, to recruiting individuals for Receiving and shipping department creating workflows to work collectively with manufacturing to the warehouse

  • Our finish good team, tracks inventory on couple levels from Inventory operating system to excel or Google doc spreadsheets
  • Daily functions consist of check emails for inventory request that can consist of spots counts to the kitting line and sale order request
  • Team also validates and puts away production receipts and will proceed to count a few items towards the end of each shift
  • Raw Material Stock
  • This team will start the morning conducting material usage transactions within our systems based on daily production reporting
  • They will proceed to tackle any issues for the day that consist of emails request for cycle counts to validate and correcting Purchases orders for RMA returns
  • The team will run several reports to validate location and item stability, if team discovers any discrepancies from there research they will take the proper measures to correct it systematically
  • End of each day team conducts cycle counts on family of raw materials that are followed by intuitive research and recounting of items which lead to root cause of inventory discrepancies
  • This is all driven by the ABC cycle count program that was constructed for the sole purpose of improving production workflows, reporting to minimizing the cost of lost materials and achieving the goal of hitting 85% to 95% inventory accuracy for each physical quarter

  • I was made the super user for our distribution facility, this came with the responsibility of training individuals on functionality in the system that is pertaining to their workflow
  • Retraining may accrue at times due to new client workflows or on the hiring of new individuals
  • Also, I monitor the system for any technical errors with functionality or integration issues
  • Any issues found that cannot be fixed by me, I proceed to open a case with EFI systems support desk to resolve the system issue and proceed to correct any inventory discrepancies that might have caused by the system error.

  • As an employee with Aeon Micro, my job duties consist of several rolls on weekly basis
  • Inventory control, receiving clerk and Production Assistant, my short time with Aeon I wore many hats and took on several responsibilities
  • Aeon Micro is part of the hard drive industry that mainly consist of selling new, used and refurbished drives
  • Aeon Micro is an Amazon and eBay driven company
  • Every Morning I run open purchase order report for incoming deliveries from vendors with land dates and what is coming in for the day, also run sales order report to prioritize deliveries and what is needed for those days’ shipments
  • Once purchase orders have landed and been identified per vendor, I compare invoices to purchase orders to see if the are consistent with product that has landed, once product is has been unpacked and laid out for inspection, damage, identification and capability (Dell products, Sun products, HP products)
  • Depending on discovery of product I update the purchase orders on my findings adjust cost, part numbers and quantities to match existing invoices, if any discrepancies are found; I alert upper management including purchasing department on findings and proceed to receive them systematically in operating system and transfer product to lab for testing.
  • This assures that production process run smoothly and meets its shipping deadlines for the day

  • Per on request I conduct cycle counts on particular models or part numbers, once found any variances; take the liberty to research specifications on model and what possible correction can be done
  • Take action on variances by transferring to correct part number, create multiple part numbers for drive in operating system, list drives availability or location by communicating with other departments heads and management
  • This assures drive availability for sale’s department can plan accordingly for future sales and also allows production department to prep and ship drive to arrive on its scheduled land date
  • Once a week I perform inventory counts on cleaning and packaging supplies for production area, look into previous counts done on same supplies and run reports on usage of materials based on sales orders for the week
  • Once data is all complete I report these counts and numbers of usage to operations manager; in which he would place the bi-weekly orders for supplies
  • This also assures that all supplies that are needed for production are stock and available for usage when needed., Unload incoming raw materials, go over bill lading on quantities, and verify purchase order numbers and vendor lots
  • Once unloaded continue to verifying packing slip detailed information that matches bill of lading, also document freight trucking company information on vehicle inspection sheet… Match newly arrived materials with packing slip and write information for proper receipt (piece, pallet and weight break down), prep pallets or boxes per lot or batch to be sampled in proper area
  • Once done take sample and paper worker to QC lab for testing and release of the product, at this time pallets or containers will be stage in its proper place and systematically transfers to stock location and labeled with company info label and later on to be use by production area..

  • Per as new hire I started my time with Aeon Micro in the production area learning the process and dynamics of the company
  • In this area I assisted production with prepping the product for cleaning and packaging for shipment

  • Upon arrival to RSI I was added to the team to help reconcile and correct the inventory accuracy and the goal was to reach 98% on hand accuracy for raw materials and finish goods
  • Within time, I was promoted to lead status and drove my team to meet the needs and issues of other departments
  • Also to keep our goal of 98% accuracy throughout the quarter and the year
  • Some of the tools and practices that I taught my team was used as follow to reach and achieve our goals
  • Conduct daily audits on piece count, measurements on all rework and substituted components
  • Also performing order points (small inventories) of production materials for purchasing analysts non inventory stock
  • Routinely check over work order discrepancies, research into processors to see if all transactions were completed or what transactions were missed systemically and physically and correct those actions in the area that is needed, this is done to insure the accuracy of the inventory and to fulfill forecast dates of finish components and finish goods
  • Occasionally search for lost materials, components and finish goods which are called (Hot Counts)
  • Schedule and set up systemically weekly cycle counts of all major commodities in a thirteen week period by utilizing the ABC program that was created by our immediate supervisor
  • This includes the planning of count date and managing of man power, prep materials in the production rack locations and also conducting recounts and looking into purchase receipts (P.O), also systemically we will check for suspicious transactions, to come up with explanations of inventory variances
  • Once this is done put all research in varies spread sheets and charts to be presented to prospective managers
  • All my duties have to be done in a timely manner in order to keep up with the fast pace environment of a manufacturing company.
