I am 18 years old and a first-generation Hispanic. I have graduated from high school and I'm currently attending Stony Brook University. I have performed several jobs over the course of the last few years. I am a friendly and approachable person that is always willing and determined to help others in any way I can. I am good at collaborating and working with others, and can communicate with others in English and Spanish.
I would answer calls and make appointments for customers when they would want their dog to be groomed, which I log it on the front desk's computer. And then call customers to notify them when their dog is ready to be picked up.
I would bathe dogs with specific shampoo, depending on the dog, then dry them with a blow dryer. Then when the owner picks them up, makes sure it goes to the right owner.
I would feed and give the dog water, as well as supervise.
I would make the kids dinner and do activities with them until I tuck them in bed. Occasionally I would clean the dishes.
I supervised a group of 15 kids ages 5-8, and created activities for them to do, both indoors and outdoors.
I would instruct a group of kids from ages 5-12 and would demonstrate exercises for them to do as well as teach and help them when doing different kickboxing moves.
I was sorting fruits and vegetables into bags for it to be later given to people. I would also speak in English and in Spanish to help communicate with people about what they wanted and assist them in any way.
I would help the teacher give out materials and supplies for the students to use, then afterwards clean up the classroom when all the students have left. Additionally, I would take the students to the bathroom, and when it is dismissal time, make sure they go to their parents safely.
