Caroline Christman

As an intern, I received an in-depth experience that taught me about the internal workings of a police department. The internship feature a presentation from a bomb squad, an assistant district attorney, a coroner, and a traffic specialist, all of which taught me and my fellow interns about several aspects of police work that we could engage with in the future. We were given the opportunity to analyze previously solved crime scenes, along with recreating crime scenes based off their measurements. We participated in the activity of looking for bullets in a car using official police equipment, and we also received an in depth tour of the police station.
