While working towards my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science at Appalachian State University I successfully founded the Appalachian State University Softball Club. With this I had to overcome many obstacles and maintain recognition through the University's Club Sports Executive Board. Once this team was successfully formed, I was responsible for working with the local parks and rec of Watauga County to maintain field usage and maintenance. I ran club practices, designed uniforms, created team fundraisers, and managed our affiliation with the NCSA (National Club Softball Association). This club traveled all over the Eastern Region to play and with that, I had the responsibility of setting up games with other Universities and managing transportation to and from. My passion for softball showed through this club and still to this day shines through my work with the Richmond Softball Team. I am an active 4th year returning JV assistant coach and during my time with the Lady Raiders I have been able to develop relationships with each girl both on the JV and Varsity team.
