  • Oversee the performance of the Court Advocacy Team.
  • Organize weekly meetings with the Court Advocacy Team to discuss cases, caseloads, best practices and volunteer performance and concerns.
  • Ensure the Advocates comply with the statutory obligations of the GAL and exceed the expectations of the Fort Bend Court District courts through both submission of court reports and testifying during court hearings.
  • Build a trust based relationship with Community Partners, the Court, Attorneys, Texas Department of Family and Protective Service, Service Providers and Stakeholders.
  • Liaison for Fort Bend County Court Team.
  • Developed and implemented a new court report and its implementation.
  • Receive all court reports and distributes to the Court Advocacy Team for review.
  • File every Court Report in a timely manner.
  • Provide Trial Prep for Advocacy Specialist and Advocates.
  • Attends and documents every court hearing into Optima.
  • Maintain current knowledge of National and Texas CASA Standards, as well as changes in Family Law.
