Supervised shifts of dispatchers for 12 hours a day. Answered emergency and non emergency lines. Worked with computer aided dispatch (CAD), Microsoft word, excel, power point, publisher, etc... Worked with NCIC (national crime information center) computer.

Oversaw and coordinated bringing Dispatch classes locally within Columbia so that Dispatchers would not have to travel long distances to attend required classes.

Worked to get pay increases for all Dispatchers which included calling around within local Departments to get other agencies pay for Dispatchers then getting together a graph for the hiring board. This was successful and all Dispatchers received a pay increase.
