Mentoring young single mothers in the community

I mentor single mothers in the Kansas City metro who are currently experiencing housing and nutritional insecurity. I provide emotional support while I help them find the appropriate resources for their needs. I continue to work with them to help them develop the necessary skills and assistance to maintain a healthy, secure lifestyle. Quite often this entails helping them get needed mental help while navigating the court system to deal with past mistakes.
