From Jun 2005 through January 2007, I worked on the floor as a staff nurse performing daily assessments on patients, gathering clinical data, passing medications, and continually assessing patients' pain.
From January 2007 until 2009, I was a charge nurse on the unit making patient assignments for the floor nurses, calling physicians for orders, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team such as social work, home care, PT/OT, etc in regards to discharge planning.
Assisted the nurse with patient cares, bathed patients, assisted patients with eating, obtained vital signs, monitored intake and output, assisted patients with ambulation, and accompanied patient's out upon discharge.
