• Oversees rehearsals and performances, including cues, set design, lighting notes, and sound design
• Coordinates with director, actors, and other crew members to ensure a smooth production
• Ensures that rehearsals run on schedule and that all equipment was functioning properly
• Monitors attendance of actors and ensured they were on time to all rehearsals and performances
• Creates lists of needed props and costumes
• Organizes props and costumes in the dressing room and backstage
• Collaborates with director to make costumes, design sets, and ensure the vision of each production was met
• Responds to any backstage issues or problems that arose during rehearsals and performances
• Leads and directs a large group actors and crew members
• Basic knowledge of the technical aspects of theater production

LYNX National Arts & Media Camp | Filmmaking Program

CU Denver, Auraria Campus, Denver, CO

July 2023

• I was a student in the LYNX Filmmaking Program during July 2023. I learned important filmmaking skills from professors in the Film and Television program at CU Denver, and was able to work with a group of 6 other students to create our own short film. We created this short film with the help of our professors and TAs over the course of two weeks.
• We learned how to write a compelling script, how to workshop our writing, how to give a pitch for a film, how to work a film camera, lights, and sound equipment, and how to edit a film in Premiere Pro.

Film Project: Familicide

• Role: Screenwriter, Director, DP, First AD, Grip and Gaff, and Editor
• Our film was about a teenage girl who while home alone reads an article about an escaped serial killer, and suddenly hears a knock at her front door.
• We switched roles during filming of this project, so I was able to not only write the script, but help direct the film and work with the lighting and sound equipment. I also did a lot of the sound design during the editing process. The film was shown at the LYNX Camp Showcase at the end of the program.
