I started with this internship with the Havre Police Department during the school year of 2025-2026. I started this internship with the Havre Police Department from the first day of school, August 20, 2025 to June 3, 2026. I learned a lot of skills and quick making decisions and how to communicate with the citizens and what to do in different situations. I rode around with the police officers learning the basic routine on what they do in a day and learned how to communicate with others and what to do in different situations. I also learned how to dispatch for the Havre Police Department. I answered the phone for the Havre Police Department and 911 Emergency calls. I learned how to communicate with others in danger or in need of something in a calm, fast moving pace to get the help that he or she possibly need. I also did a lot of paperwork for the dispatchers and the police officers if putting in a citation, probation, warrant, or typing up a police report.
