I currently own two horses and am a devoted equestrian with a deep passion for the sport. I have been riding since the age of five and have had the incredible opportunity to compete at shows across the country. Horses are more than a hobby to me, they are a lifestyle that has taught me discipline, responsibility, and resilience. I am fully responsible for their daily care and well-being, from feeding and grooming to training and health management. To support this commitment, I work as much as I can, and in doing so, I’ve become a dedicated and hardworking individual. The effort I pour into my horses is returned to me in the form of trust, partnership, and growth, making every challenge deeply rewarding.
I am currently enrolled in all Honors and AP courses at Valley Lutheran High School, where I consistently challenge myself academically. In addition to my coursework at school, I take online classes through Grand Canyon University to further expand my learning and prepare for college-level work. I maintain a 4.7 GPA and am known for my curiosity and eagerness to learn, I ask lots of questions because I truly want to understand the material and grow. I love pushing myself to see what I’m capable of and constantly seek opportunities to improve. My teachers often commend me for my dedication, thoughtful engagement, and positive attitude in the classroom.
I have received numerous academic awards throughout my time in school, including recognition for maintaining a place on the High Honor Roll and being acknowledged for my dedication and performance in individual classes. My commitment extends beyond the classroom as well, I’ve been a dedicated member of my equestrian team for the past six years and have competed in IEA, where I’ve been honored with several sportsmanship awards. These recognitions reflect not only my hard work and consistency, but also my positive attitude and respect for others, both in the arena and in academic settings.
