Beach Attendant

  • Ensure everything was to properly be set and ready for guest to use.
  • Check morning website and see how many rentals are available for the day and who is to be expected, and ensuring that the rentals already bought were set properly.
  • Greet guest and insure there stay is comfortable, which include building a connection with them.
  • After, the towel bins were all filled, and guest were handed waters, I would check on Beach team, depending on whether or not I worked beach or pool shift.
  • Once comes closing shift I would place Aviator chair covers on there stationary items, and then close up the desk, Cleaning up all dirty towels, fixing all chairs back to being straight, I would then put the pool deck signs up.
  • For Beach, I would put all chairs away and lock them up, All Amenities are either put back in the amenities closet or lock away in the beach desk, after this all coolers and towels are taken back up.
  • After both of these depending on my shift I would register the tickets on to the computer and put any gratuity in the booklet, and go home.

  • Grabbing my radio I would help check who was registered for camp, and depending on the day set the camp room up for the theme.
  • After setting up what crafts there are for the day I would start to check the kids in and start the day, whether it came to finding games for us to play, or take them to the beach to find shark teeth or nature trails.
  • When it came down to food my coworker and I would have them decide and we would call the restaurant by us to bring it over.
  • When camp was over, the parents would come to collect there children, and I would put the tickets into the system.
  • Other days I would work for the crafts table, setting up a number of crafts depending on the day and on weekends setting up games for the kids on the pool deck to join in, and sometimes parents.
  • Once it was time to close up I would clean up the crafts, and ring the tickets in
  • Not only did I work for Crafts and with the camp counselors, I work corporate events, where based on what meetings were going on in the resort we would have a number of kids come in to be watched and have fun. To say the largest number of kids I've watched with my coworkers would be 87 in total, earliest starting from being potty trained to ages of 14.

  • Came closing time, I would ensure my station was all cleaned and put back properly, and I would end my day and go home.
