
My name is Catherine Sarringer. I am a mother of two sons. I enjoy doing crafts, working with children, going for walks, reading, cooking, and spending time with family. I also enjoy spending times with my animals.
I frequently assist my sons who are in Scouts BSA. I have led, coordinated, resourced, and instructed multiple youth service projects. I work well with others, which makes me a good team player. I can type 80+ words per minute. As a mom of two sons with special needs, I am compassionate, patient, and understanding. I am a hard worker and reliable.
Presidential Volunteer Service Award – Gold (2024)
National honor recognizing exceptional commitment to volunteerism and civic engagement. Awarded for completing 500 volunteer service hours within a 12-month period and demonstrating sustained dedication to making a positive impact through community service. Volunteered with Scouting America units as a service project coordinator, leading 100 youth and adult volunteers through multiple service projects supporting the military community and children in the Inpatient Pediatric Ward at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I also volunteered at two local elementary schools during monthly food banks, two book fairs, and other fundraisers.
