I volunteer once a year as a waitress at the 7 Loaves Cafe in New York for an event called the New York Encounter. The 7 Loaves is a high-end restaurant with good quality food. I help cook, set up, clean, and most of all serve. Elena the head of the 7 Loaves Cafe calls me back every year to work for her at the event.

I have worked for a variety of families. Including my teachers kids. Right now I work 4 days a week with a family of 2 children one being a new born and the other is 4.

I worked as a volunteer for two weeks at a nursery in Belo Horizonte Brazil in an organization called Obras Educativas Padre Giussani. I assisted the nursery teachers in their classes from 7am-3pm for two weeks. I worked with kids coming from very harsh family situations. Kids came to school unfed unwashed and unloved. I learnt how to look after kids who desired much attention. The job included: feeding, washing, entertaining, teaching, and overall looking after the children.

When I lived in Dubai I went to DAA which was a school that offered a week of volunteering. In this week I worked at the school nursery with a class of 4th graders. I taught alongside the teacher, helped organize in class crafts, made sure the kids were safe and attentive.
