- Organize and supervise the activities of the farrowing team that are carried out in a timely manner in accordance with the production protocol.
- Monitor maternity wards that are properly adjusted including airflow, fan operation, heaters, heat mats, water flow, and feed availability.
- Monitor the Front end, sows attended every 20 minutes, detection of milk in sows to farrow, sow induction programming, colostrum intake in piglets, hot and dry piglets, minimize piglet movement, use of oxytocin.
- Schedule litters to be processed with an age of 4 to 6 days.
- Schedule vaccinations according to the age of the piglets and instructions from the veterinarian.
- Supervise the health of piglets and sows if necessary to give timely treatment.
- Supervise that it is personnel in my charge that they are working safely and using the tools provided appropriately for their protection and animal welfare.
- Placing food orders in the absence of the manager.
- Closing the website in the absence of the manager.
- To report profits in the absence of the manager.
- Report injuries in the work area in a timely manner if they occur.

- Check all structural areas of the farm, Make sure the outside areas of the farm are biosecure, including rodent baiting, feed silo management, composting, and the general area outside the farm.
- Ensure indoor areas of the farm are biosecure, including filter banks, rodent bait, and fan and shutter maintenance.
- Complete daily audits of open and closed fans. Record all backdrafts and repair as necessary.
- Check all exterior doors and critical access points on each facility to check for back drafting.
- Monitor inventory of all equipment and supplies in biosecure areas.
- Make sure airlock protocols are adhered too.
- Ensure that the room and D/D (disinfection/downtime) protocols are adhered too.
- Inspect transition areas, making sure they are clean and protocols are followed when in use.
- Conduct routine attic inspections to monitor filter effectiveness.

- Monitor sow health, feed and check the water flow for sows, report problem sows to my leader, pick up all dead piglets during the evening and put them in a container with a lid. Unload the weaned sows to proceed to wash the room, wash, disinfect and let the room dry in order to condition and load the sows that are about to give birth.
- Follow the biosecurity protocol to keep the farm free of diseases
- Monitor airflow in delivery rooms as well as desired temperature.
- Process piglets with an average age of 3 to 5 days of age, treat piglets with diarrhea, wean piglets.
