• Supported PHL1 during the month of April, helping improve Safety site wide. Helped identify, create sustainable action items, and support with their implementation which directly resulted in PHL1 recordables impovement from 7 Q1 2023 to 6 Q2 2023. In addition to reduction in Loss time injuries, reduction from 4 Q1 2023 to 0 Q2 2023.
• Founding board member for Latinos at Amazon at LAS7; dedicated 100+ hours to supporting the AA’s and community in 2022. Over saw and helped plan/execute networking events and employee engagements to promote DEI across the Las Vegas Node. He is working on founding the Affinity group here at SCA7 and a continued partnership with St. Jude.
• Supported SAX3 with the process implementation of damages for both IB and OB. The process improvements reduced the quantity of sellable product being discarded through the utilization of DPT. SAX3 saw an improvement of DPT compliance from 63% to 98% the proceeding weeks quality concerns, specifically identify and support the site with elevated DPMO in IB (SIPS, BFV, and ME’s). During the 2 weeks he coached AMB’s, partnered with AM’s on quality coaching metrics and best practices. These initiatives resulted in the lowest IB Quality DPMO’s in a 60 week period.
• Led the launch and set up for Hazwaste at SCA7. The application of best practices has led to
early cost savings, via compliance in DPT WOW. These best practices will be shared with future launches to help promote minimal waste and support Amazons
Sustainability goals.
