CHACE S. ALKEMA

Im currently 19, I was early High School graduate, I graduated at 16 years old, as I was wanting to get a early experience of a trade. I have experience so far in ranching/home use equipment, shovels, picks, digging bars and various other tools, understanding small equipment motors and most hand tools such as sawzaws and drills. I can drive a stick shift and have used a dump truck before, and plan to get my cdl in the next couple years. I’ve use a ditch witch tractor at my grandpas farm and have used a chainsaw, weed eater, and chaps/hearing and eye protection. Growing up, I’ve been around heavy equipment as well of growing up with always doing something in the yard with tools, and so on that had given me a passion to make it a career for myself that I full heartedly desire and that I am super passionate about. My dad was in the water industry roughly 25 years and I’ve always been a hard worker just like him and I just want to build a career with stability and job security. I studied hard to get my D2 and was determined to pass my exam, paid extra for study guides and countless hours preparing just like I do for anything. I plan to get my T2 this year and get as many certifications as possible in the water industry. I would love to be an operator in training for waste water and learn every thing I can at every level in the water industry from credible people. I heard about the job from a long time family friend Dan Whitford and I became really interested upon hearing the job would be available. I work great with people and I’d love be apart of the city of Jackson in that role.
