• Traveled on a national level to perform welding jobs that included designing, fabricating, and welding on Class 8 vehicles in order to repair damaged components. Made modifications to Class A and B trucks for customers.
• Asserted quality work by inspecting welded surfaces and structures to identify and remediate flaws. Examined completed welds to ensure they were free from defects and were functional.
• Interpreted designs by accurately taking/reading measurements to determine the required tools, materials, and welding methods for each job.
• Built hydraulic and pneumatic systems for tanker trailers.
• Designed and built many hanging and storage systems for Housby University and for parts storage and display.
• Fabricated engine run stands and other utility items for Housby University.
• Coached and mentored an Apprentice welder.

• Foreman at various jobsites. Overseeing 1-10 people.
• Read and interpreted blueprints, schematics, and drawings for new and existing piping systems and ensured required materials were present at the sites and was responsible for distribution to workforce on a timely basis.
• Established good working relationships with engineers, architects, and customers at each jobsite.
• Performed inspections at worksites to determine any special conditions or requirements were needed.
• Troubleshot, tested, and repaired low to high pressure steam systems, and their associated piping and components. (Boilers, steam traps, condensate pumps, valves)
• Fabricated and installed boiler systems, processed pipe systems, pharmaceutical labs, and medical gas systems.
• Diagnosed, analyzed, and overhauled hydronic, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems.
• Designed and fabricated supports and structures for mechanical systems.
• Consistently worked with hands to install and repair piping systems by crawling, squatting, stooping, stretching and lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Utilized strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and repair problems. Accurately measured and correctly matched fittings and pipes.
