Conducts ground up services on all models of Siemens SPECT-CT and PET-CT cameras. Maintains services and parts distribution for Ballad Health in Johnston City, TN. as well as, several sites throughout Southern Illinois/Greater St. Louis area.
Tested equipment performance and demonstrated operation and servicing of equipment to customer. Repaired and calibrated systems and equipment post-installation. Scheduled service calls according to customer location and urgency of need. Inspected equipment and processes to reduce maintenance-related downtime incidents and mitigate equipment failures. Created ISO compliant procedures and checklists for PET-CT and SPECT-CT scanners.
Conducts Repairs, calibrations, and Preventive Maintenance on an array of Molecular Imagining Systems. PET CT, Nuclear Medicine / SPECT CT, and standalone CT equipment are within the spectrum of daily workload. Oversees 40+ hospital accounts that have contracts and time and material. Successful track record at responding and ensuring downtime of systems are kept to a minimum.
Conducts maintenance and calibration on a vast spectrum of medical equipment ranging from Biomedical to Imaging modalities. Assists in training and assisting entry level technicians in biomedical maintenance and proper utilization of test equipment. Services 15 surrounding St. Anthony's owned clinics and Urgent Care practices.
Directly accountable for the function, execution, and outcome of the Biomedical Maintenance Field Service Team with supervisory oversight of 6 Biomedical Equipment Repair Technicians. Coordinates and conducts quality Medical Maintenance support for WINN, Hunter Army Airfield Health Clinic, 7 dental clinics, 10 veterinary clinics, and 3 Military Entrance Processing Stations; located throughout South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and Cuba. Responsibilities include installation repair and routine field service of a wide variety of medical, radiographic and clinical laboratory instruments; to include mobile X-ray, PACS, Dialysis, Patient Monitoring Systems, Surgical Endoscopy, Sterilizers, and assorted Dental equipment. Administers direct support for multiple X-ray rooms, C-arms, MRI, and CT. Tasks include performing scheduled PM’s / calibrations, routine service and critical Hard-down coverage. Vast knowledge of UNIX, Linux, DOS, Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7, current on MS Office 2010. Special emphasis on DICOM communication, picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and upgrading existing networks to handle data transfer and adaptability in the changing Hospital infrastructure.
Provided Medical Maintenance support for over 300 healthcare and ancillary clinics in the Pacific Region. Performed first call / troubleshooting service on all imaging modalities to include CT, MRI, X-ray, and Ultrasound. Administered all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on over 400 pieces of Operating Room surgical equipment; to include Endoscopy, Lasers, Microscopes, Ventilators, and Electrosurgical units.
