  • Disclose confidential information regarding eligibility rights and benefits for RSDI, HI SSI, and Black Lung.
  • Respond to inquiries from beneficiaries and document changes to the record in the Master Beneficiaries Record (MBR) or the Supplemental Security Insurance Display (SSID) while following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Work incentive programs involving compliance with various beneficiaries reporting requirements and submitting the appropriate reports to continue, suspend, or terminate monthly payments.
  • Examine information relating to claims folders or electronic records to resolve any conflicting statements, evidence, and information.
  • Present full explanation of actions taken by utilizing payment history, updating systems to provide correct responses, and resolving problems concerning: Medicare payments, General Enrollment Period (GEP), Initial Enrollment Periods (IEP), Special Enrollment Periods (SEP).
  • Supported receptionist duties: Screening phone calls and visitors to the office, Contact Congressional Offices, Veteran Service Organizations, and officials from other government agencies, Maintain office calendar and schedules to include network meetings, travel plans, and official appointments.
  • Retrieved medical records from daily pull lists and individual record requests.
  • Handled priority requests for medical records for unscheduled admissions and clinic appointments to be forwarded to the appropriate patient care area.
  • Responded to all telephone and face to face contacts with patients, coworkers, and various third-party entities.
