Summary

I am fortunate to bring more than 20 years of experience to my work as a member of senior leadership on organizational initiatives, strategies, and global communications with the ability to align diverse teams operating in complex environments to achieve goals. I am a versatile and experienced project manager who brings interpersonal savvy along with strategic and operational know-how, creativity, flexibility and a relentless drive to just get things done while nurturing and empowering teams to be motivated to lead themselves. I currently sit within the Global Engagement and Communications Office where I lead global communications, strategic partnerships, advocacy and special initiatives for Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, overseeing global communications including the promotion and dissemination of successes and learning from Jhpiego's work in more than 50 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. I support our President and CEO on a regular basis and report to the leadership team on all matters of strategic planning, external communications, insights, and new business opportunities. Prior to my time with Jhpiego, I was Media Lead for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Health Affairs, where I acted as spokesperson for the Department of Defense Military Health System’s then $46B health care enterprise. As former Chief of Staff for the White House Commission on Remembrance, established by Congress, I provided management and oversight to all Commission activities including more than 60 annual remembrance tributes and all communications and media efforts. I began my career as a government affairs associate at a D.C.-based lobbying firm. Note, I am currently based in the NYC metro area.
