  • I held numerous management positions up to that of Senior Operations Manager at UPS. I managed both Inside Operations as well as Driver Operations leading up to managing the Operations for an entire District. I have been promoted on nine occasions. I was always considered a "fixer" and I was relocated on four occasions throughout the Country. While in Utah I was responsible for the States of Utah, Nevada and Idaho. I took that district from a ranking of 55 to a ranking of number 1 in less than a year. I am very diverse in my management style. I strongly believe in accountability. Moreso, I believe in leading my people in a way that strengthens their skillset which will usually result in operational goals being met. I am very versed in dealing with Unions and I have sat on various Company/Union Panels over the years. I enjoy the challenge of improving results through developing people.

  • When stationed in Indianapolis, I took over a Community Service Program called the Back Pack Attack. They took in supplies from volunteer points all over the city and then sorted and distributed them to the local schools. It normally took 7 days each year to get this done. We got it done in 3 days.
